Healthy Eating at Fitzalan

Fitzalan High School is a cashless school using a Biometric Cashless system at lunch time and Parent pay for all other transactions. This system means that pupils and staff purchase their meals and snacks, simply by pressing their finger on the system at the tills.

Parents & Carers can manage accounts online via www.parentpay.com, making payments and keeping up to date with purchases. Alternatively, you can receive a PayPoint card, on request. This can be used to top up accounts at your local PayPoint stores, visit: www.PayPoint.co.uk for locations of these stores.

It will be your responsibility to ensure that each pupils account has sufficient funds to pay for their school meals, so please check the balance regularly. Or alternatively, why not sign up for automated alerts and/or automated top ups, this can be arranged via www.parentpay.com

If a pupil is entitled to free school meals, the daily allowance will be added each day. The good thing about the cashless system is that all pupils are treated the same when purchasing their meals and snacks at school.

Whilst we recommend that all pupils register for the Biometric Cashless system and Parent pay (Trips), pupils can also bring packed lunch into school with them.

There is also a water fountain in the canteen, where pupils can fill their reusable water bottles during break and lunchtime.
