In October a number of staff ran the Cardiff Half Marathon with the Rotary Club who in turn were raising funds for Velindre cancer charity. 

As well as the staff runners getting their own sponsorship, as a school we held a non-uniform day to raise money.  The total raised was an amazing £3000 and on 4^th December, members of the Fitzalan Charity Committee and staff who ran the half marathon were joined by Tony Williams, George Mercer and Dafydd Thomas from the Rotary Club, for tea, cakes and a cheque presentation. 

Well done to all those who ran the half marathon and for thank you to everyone involved with the fundraising.
