Fitzalan High School Year 9 team won the Cardiff 7's bowl competition on 5th March 2025. Throughout the day, there was a number of matches that the team had to play. The team won five games and lost one. Playing against teams from Kings Monkton, Cardiff West, and Mary Immaculate to name a few. The boy's physicality and athleticism were something to behold, particularly when Adam ran the whole pitch to score a spectacular try.

The PE coach and Year 9 team are now much more optimistic for success in the upcoming National URDD 7's.
