Prior to our moving to our new school site in September, the Charity Committee raised money so that we could twin toilet blocks in the new school with toilets in the developing world. 

Through holding a non-uniform day, we raised enough money to twin our six main blocks of new toilets with six toilet blocks in other countries through the Toilet Twinning charity. 

We received certificates to show that we are twinned with toilets in Malawi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Zambia and Uganda.  Early in the autumn term, we also held assemblies for each year group, explaining the terrible problems caused by poor sanitation in other parts of the world and reminding ourselves to appreciate the wonderful facilities in the new school.
