More than 12 different employers from a variety of sectors were in school on Friday as Yr 9 start their focus on GCSE option choices. Pupils conducted question and answer sessions with the employers based on the qualifications needed in the roles, different career paths available and the skills required for each job.

The employers represented were:  Royal Navy / Little Stars Nursery / NHS / Open Reach / Eversheds / Screen Alliance Wales / Cardiff County Council / BBC /  Careers Wales / Big Ideas Wales / Viridor / South Wales Police and a couple of start up companies who received funding from Big Ideas Wales.

All Yr 9 pupils had the opportunity to visit the stands and were praised by all employers for their behaviour and standard of their questions.
