On Monday the 9th December, pupils from Year 9 took part in a Citizenship Democracy Workshop at the Senedd and Cardiff County Hall.

There were many pupils there from different school across Cardiff and the event included a tour of the Senedd building, a debate on banning smartphones in Welsh schools, and a mock polling station. Four of our pupils even won ice skating tickets for Cardiff's Winter Wonderland! The pupils said they really enjoyed the day and the staff who ran the workshops said that our pupils were really engaged in the activities.
