On Tuesday 12^th March, the Charity Committee welcomed Charlie Sloper to talk to them about the work of the homelessness charity Llamau. 

Charlie presented us with some stark statistics about the scale of homelessness and also some interesting information about the struggles some people face.  Llamau work with young people and women, providing accommodation and support to people facing a difficult time. 

The Charity Committee recently decided to support Llamau because they were particularly concerned about youth homelessness and they have already organised a lunchtime bingo event to raise money.  The next event will be an Easter Egg raffle.
