A group of Year 13 chemistry, biology and medical science pupils visited CatSci to give them an opportunity to see what it is like to work in a high-tech Lab in Cardiff.

They had a talk from one of the DNA scientists and a tour of the facilities. During the tour they had an opportunity to speak to the other scientists, were given demonstrations of the equipment and were able to ask lots of questions.

It was a great experience and the pupils impressed the staff with their questions. 16 pupils from Year 12 also had the opportunity to visit a week later.
